Capacity building – Healthcare Professionals

QPHI is committed to advancing the translation of genomics knowledge and creating educational opportunities in this field. The institute offers a variety of educational programs for healthcare professionals, university students, and the next generation of scientists.
The importance of genomics cannot be overstated. There is a significant knowledge gap in schools and universities, as well as in online content, and a big lack of learning resources especially in Arabic, more specifically for children in their primary school years.  Our main goal is to bridge this gap in genomics for our youth to help cultivate a thirst of curiosity towards science, so they understand, implement, and take part. Through several tools we aim to develop scientific content for youth and the public to transfer our knowledge to improve health outcomes. We aim to create fun and interactive ways to engage students, while collaborating with the appropriate educational institutions to also reach researchers and educators.
