| Disease Genome Database (DGD) is an initiative led by Qatar Genome (QGP) under the umbrella of Qatar Precision Health Institute (QPHI) since 2021. The aim of this initiative is to support the research community through generating genome data and providing regulated access to available data. This initiative involves collaboration with all academic, research and health institutions and the partnership are harmonized at the institutional level. |
| DGD utilizes biological samples to generate comprehensive genotyping, sequencing, and other relevant genomic data associated with diseases. The database allows data sharing and empowers genomic research and discovery related to diseases of national priority in Qatar and the Gulf region. Data access and sharing are governed by affiliation terms and conditions defined in the agreement. |
