| Empower Generations Consortium (EGC): |
| This is a joint collaboration between QPHI and Qatar University under the Empower Generation Consortium for National Capacities in Life Sciences. The partnership aims to exchange knowledge and expertise to support the development of life sciences education. It also focuses on student engagement and practical application, while raising awareness of national capacities through the project. Empower Generations Consortium (EGC) solely aims to enhance the conceptual development of life sciences and grant youth life fulfilling careers that help them to dynamically engage with societies, build their inner strengths, reshape their self-confidence, heighten their competency levels, improve their interpersonal skills initiate their social contribution, and influence their adeptness to the surroundings. The said main goals are archetyped through more than a few educational frameworks within the same project. QPHI is a groundbreaking population-based initiative designed to establish Qatar as a global leader in precision medicine. Through the integration of whole genome sequencing with other omics data and comprehensive phenotypic information, the project is building extensive databases that empower researchers to lead breakthrough discoveries. This goes hand in hand to support policymakers in shaping future healthcare strategies and healthcare in Qatar. |
| Genomics and Precision Medicine Program (GPM): |
| With the collaboration of QPHI and Qatar University, the Genomics and Precision Medicine program – part of the university’s Science and Research qualifications – aims to enhance student participation in Life Sciences. Aligned with Qatar’s 2030 vision, and the goal of EGC, the program seeks to increase exposure and education in life sciences, fostering scientific innovation and ultimately improving healthcare, innovation, education, and careers in Qatar. |
