Predictive Genomics & PersonalisedMedicine -A Vision From ThermoFisher Scientific
Abstract:
Healthcare systems around the world are under pressure to fight the rise of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), like cancer. There has been very little innovation in prevention of NCDs, while on the diagnostic side innovative tools have revolutionised patients' lives. Can we leverage genomics to prevent incidence of NCDs and improve diagnosis at global level? If yes, how? The presentation will provide the perspectives of Thermo Fisher Scientific on the future of predictive genomics and personalised medicine.
