QPHI Chief Operating Officer

Sheikha Al-Fadalah is the Chief Operating Officer at Qatar Precision Health Institute (QPHI). She joined Qatar Biobank in August 2016 and was appointed Research Access and Operations Director at QPHI in September 2023 during the institute’s transition phase. She brings more than 20 years of professional experience at Qatar Foundation, with extensive expertise in leadership, research management, and organizational operations.
Throughout her career, Sheikha has held key roles across research and operational functions, including serving as a Senior Research Analyst within Her Highness’s Office. Her experience spans research management, strategic and operational planning, budgeting, human capital, procurement, finance, facilities management, research access and governance, and institutional operations.
She has extensive experience working with diverse and multidisciplinary teams and managing complex organizational functions and priorities.

Her leadership focuses on strengthening operational efficiency, improving organizational processes, supporting effective resource management, and ensuring that operations are aligned with institutional strategy and objectives.
Sheikha holds a Master of Science in International Management from the University of Liverpool. Her combination of research, management, and operational experience enables her to support QPHI’s strategic objectives and the advancement of precision health in Qatar.
