Dr. Kawthar M. Al-Dabhani, PhD

Acting Research Access Director

Dr. Kawthar M. Al-Dabhani is the Acting Research Access Director at Qatar Precision Health Institute (QPHI), where she leads the coordination of researcher access to QPHI data and biospecimens. She holds a PhD and MSc in Epidemiology from Imperial College London, UK, and a BSc in Biochemistry from the State University of New York at Buffalo, USA. With extensive experience in scientific operations, protocol development, cohort and clinic operations, and data harmonization, Dr. Al-Dabhani bridges scientific strategy and operational execution to support high-quality precision health research. In her role, she works closely with multidisciplinary teams and researchers to ensure that access processes are scientifically rigorous, transparent, and aligned with consent, confidentiality, regulatory, and data protection requirements. Her work supports large-scale studies that inform personalized approaches to disease prevention and management and advance precision health initiatives in Qatar.
