Dr. Mohamed Hashim

Dr. Mohamed Hashim M. Mahmoud, MD, MSc, ABHS-FM, is a Senior Consultant Family Physician and a Core Faculty member of the Family Medicine Residency Program at PHCC. He also serves as Senior Clinical Educator for Physicians within the Workforce Training and Development Department and is an active member of both the PHCC Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Research Sub-Committee, as well as the Creativity and Innovation Program.
Internationally, Dr. Mahmoud holds senior academic roles, including Senior Teaching Assistant for the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research program at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and for the Master’s Program in Clinical Research at Dresden International University, Germany. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the College of Health Sciences, University of Doha for Science and Technology. He has authored multiple publications in clinical and educational research, as well as chapters on medical education and biostatistics. 
Dr. Mahmoud is certified in Family Medicine by the Arab Board of Medical Specialization and holds a Master of Science in Clinical Research from Dresden International University, Germany. He is a Certified Master Assessor through the Irish College of General Practitioners and has completed professional development programs in the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Boston), Medical Teaching, Learning & Innovation (Scala Institute and IMERIA University, São Paulo), and Applied Biostatistics (Harvard Clinical and Translational Science Center).
