| Dr. Khalid Ahmed MD, MRCSEd, FACS, MSc, is a Consultant in Acute Care Surgery at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar, and a distinguished academic leader recognized for his surgical expertise, educational innovation, and research contributions. |
| He holds Master’s degrees in Clinical Research (Dresden International University) and Clinical Education (University of Edinburgh) and is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. In Qatar, he serves as core faculty for the General Surgery Residency and Acute Care Surgery Fellowship programs and is a member of the Examination Board of the Qatari Board of Medical Specialization. Internationally, he contributes as a Senior Teaching Assistant and journal reviewer for the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health’s Principles and Practice of Clinical Research program. |
| Dr. Ahmed is a prolific scholar with peer-reviewed publications, co-authored educational books, and extensive journal review work. He has been ranked among Qatar’s top 1000 scientists for three consecutive years, based on citations and H-index.
