Felipe Fregni is a Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School and a Professor of Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He is a Director of the Spaulding Neuromodulation Center at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and has pioneered clinical applications of non-invasive brain stimulation in pain and neurorehabilitation.
He is also the founder and director of the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (PPCR) program offered by Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health established in 2008, which has trained thousands of healthcare professionals worldwide in clinical research methodology, fostering global collaboration and critical thinking in medicine.
Prof. Fregni has published extensively on neuromodulation, placebo mechanisms, neuroplasticity, and trial methodology, and has been a driving force in advancing both innovative treatments and rigorous training in clinical research.
