| Dr. Amany Dahir is the Director of the Health Research Regulatory Department (HRRD) at the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) in Qatar. In this capacity, with her leadership HRRD is responsible for the oversight and regulation of all national health research, ensuring adherence to local laws and international best practices. Her role involves proposing legislative instruments and policies to foster a safe and advanced health research environment within the country. A licensed public health physician, Dr. Dahir's credentials include a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Cairo University Faculty of Medicine, a Master of Public Health (MPH) from George Washington University, and a Specialized master’s in strategic business Unit Management from HEC Paris and Clinical trial research training certificate from Harvard medical school. |
